Wrong. Digital Rights go beyond mere copying. It is illegal to decrypt 
content that has been encrypted. You can't seriously believe that the 
companies rely on encryption to prevent copying. lol. 
 
The reason for the encryption is not to stop copying per se, but to 
put up an artificial barrier for legal purposes. It is the decryption 
that is illegal, along with copying the content. 
 
IOW, you cannot use "fair use" as a justification for decrypting 
content that has been encrypted.
