  Are you using the new "Pro" version of TDA?  In the regular 
version all the frames, and therefor all the thumbnail layers are 
4:3.  The "thumbnail images" DO "all look the same in terms of 
their aspect ratio".   You have to make your own frames to get 
any different ones.
