I don't know, this whole 'upconversion' thing sounds like a scam to me.
Do these things really deliver? Is there a real, appreciable,
noticeable difference in picture quality when you upconvert with one of
these players?
I tried a Toshiba upconverting player once, and I noticed absolutely no
difference whatsoever. (And I was using the HDMI cable.)
