Somewhere around 30 Nov 2005 10:01:09 -0800, while reading
rec.video.dvd.players, I think I thought I saw this post from

Your player doesn't say it supports any DVD burnable media, only CD. That
may be the problem. DVD-R is usually more compatible with DVD-Video than
+R, I've heard.

Have you tried playing the disk on your computer? Or verifying the burn in
Nero after burning?

Do you use DVD Decrypter? I used to have problems similar to yours, with a
player that does support both +/- DVD formats. I was using DVD decrypter,
then DVD Shrink, then Nero. I found out I could use DVD Shrink by itself
and it would do decrypting. I had no problems after that, which may or may
not be a coincidence.

Also, do you use labels on the disks. I've heard bad things about labels,
and I stopped using them about the same time, so that could also be part of
my solution.

The media didn't seem to matter much in my case. The same ones that were
having problems are now working perfectly.
