Hi group,
I have just bought a Samsung DVD recorder (model DVD-R119 - this is a new
model)
It generally works well, but the auto chapter feature sometimes doesn't work
when I wish to record programmes from freeview. This feature is set for 5
minutes and this often works but occasionally when I playback my recording
there are no chapters present.
I was using a DVD-RW disc in VR mode. On the same disc some of the
recordings have chapters while others don't. Does anyone know the reason for
this?
Are the chapters created when the recording is finished and do they take up
additional disc space? It is possible that on one of the recordings I
switched the power off before the disc was had fully finished putting the
chapters in
place and once there was very little disc space left once I had finished
recording.
Could this have had an effect?
