Is the Oppo (forgot model number) upconverting player about the best you can
get now. Im going to get a Sony SXRD and want a excellent upconverting
player (not waiting for BLue-ray or HDVD)

I was looking at the Sony but in 1080i mode, they have a black bar across
the stop of the screen.
