I have a few DVD's with 50 minute video's that I recorded on my DVD
recorder. I'd like to transfer these 50 minute video's to DivX files.
What is a suitable program for doing this?
I looked at the popular Dr DivX but it looks like it does not support
encoding a DVD straight from the disc.
Using the 3 hour quality mode I can only fit three 50 minute video's
on a DVD, it would be nice to be able to fix 6 or more video's onto a
DVD disc when they have been converted to Divx. I use DVD-RW discs so
I can reuse the disc again.
One problem I'm faced with is that when I remove adverts on the video
the video becomes split into sections, so I might need to join there
video sections first before converting to DivX unless I convert one
video at a time and a suitable program automatically joins the video
sections for me before saving them as DivX.
Any help with this would be most welcome
Regards Brian
