I have a 633, but I use it with cable instead of satellite. What sort
of trouble are you having?
The easiest way to set a timer recording is to use the TIMER REC
button on the remote. That takes you directly to the window where you
enter the settings (this is much easier than trying to find your way
there through the Home Menu).
