My daughter has an AS 8099 DVD player that refuses to play some of her DVDs,
such as Disney's Beauty and the Beast. I've had a friend with a Cyberhome
DVD player in the past that needed a firmware update to allow it to play
Disney DVDs properly, and I'm guessing that the AS8099 has a similar issue.
I've contacted Acoustic Solutions and they replied telling me that the
player is actually a licensed item and not made by them, and that I have to
go via Argos technical support for help. Argos weren't helpful.
Any ideas of what make and model the AS8099 actually is? Any links to a
firmware update for it? Thanks in advance for any help.
