I have Ulead, Sony, Nero, NTI, Adobe, VDub, and other video editing
software on my computer and all work fine. I have an older version of
Pinnacle in the box after trying to make it work.
I have been helping a friend who foolishly bought 10.5 and it refused to
load. Got him through that, but it takes forever to boot and crashes
often. I bought Adobe Premier Elements for him so he can get through a
project.
Reading the defenders here, so to make 10.5 work, all you need to do is
do a clean install of windows and have no other programs on your machine
and you are fine? Talk about arrogance. None of my other editing
programs have caused the problems Pinnacle has. Even a beta of most
software is fairly stable. 10.5 is worse than a beta. Just Google it and
you will see the problems people have with it.
