No doubt that v10.x of Studio was a bomb. I even said that. There was a
"cheap" upgrade price for me that I turned down. Too many people with
problems. Sure. Do the research yourself. As I have stated before, you
can go into *any* forum and read about problems and disasters. Does that
mean you stay away from the product? If that were the case, most of us
wouldn't be using Windows. Yet, we still do in spite of it's short
comings. As for *your* experiences, they are yours, just as *mine* are
mine. I have very positive results with Pinnacle. Many have. And there
aer those that have not. I have posted my experience with Matrox, yet,
you don't see me bashing the product because *I* could not get it to
work. It was apparent in their forum that there were happy people using
it with no problem.
Why you invested so much money in Pinnacle if you were having so many
problems is beyond me. Speaks volumes for you.

Not a defender of anything. Just putting my experiences in there along
with the rest. But is seems that that is unacceptable to a lot of
people. All they want to see is negative experiences. All you would have
to do is go the the Liquid forums and reas for yourself. Same with
Premiere, Canopus, etc.. You will read the same type of stories.
Successes and problems. Pinnacle (since it isn't bundled as Premiere is)
Studio has sold more software.
I liked Premiere 6.5, but after the learning curve of Liquid, I can't go
back. Now, using Avid Liquid with pretty good success as are many others.
