My Panasonic dmr-e55 has developed a power fault - power is completely
lost after a few minutes' playback or recording.
I intend taking this back to the retailer for a replacement (it's only
18 months old) but if I do so, as opposed to getting it repaired, will I
be able to finalize DVDs, recorded on the original machine, on a
replacement? Would it have to be the same model, or is finalizing only
possible on the same machine recording was carried out on?
