It looks incredibly complex because it is. There are several programs for
doing this type of work: Maxon Cinema 4D XL, Maya, Lightwave & Autodesk 3D
Studio are a few of them. The learning curve is very steep. These are not
drag and drop programs where performing these operations are done in a few
simple steps. Thing like what you describe take literally days and weeks to
complete.
