is there some open-source or public-domain character generator software on
the market, of quality and function similar to Inscriber? Is there going to
be ongoing support for it?
is there something that can be recommended for a character generator?
we need to see several screens worth of preview and switch between them
rapidly, like powerpoint, but also pop up text periodically on the same
screen. We also have images that need to be displayed one in a while. If
there are other requirements, I don't know of them yet.
We have a special interface card for the PC for a CG switcher panel.
The text doesn't need to be fancy or have a lot of special effects, just
very readable.
