Without knowing the actual reason your burn failed, I couldn't say for
sure, but I would certainly try.

If you have Nero, try with that. You will need to burn a Video CD, so
follow the wizard to do so. This generally guarantees that your CD
will play in the majority of DVD players, which otherwise would balk at
straight MPEG1s.
