HEAVY HITTERS:

AGATHA CHRISTIE'S MISS MARPLE: CLASSIC MYSTERIES COLLECTION (reviewed by
Jennifer Malkowski, overall score 72/100):
"Like the Agatha Christie novels on which they are based, these
mysteries rely on well-established character types and conventions.
They're not quite predictable, but they're all shaped by the same basic
narrative mold. To explain said mold, I've penned my very own drinking
game to accompany this set."

GUNS AND GUTS (reviewed by David Johnson, overall score 68/100):
"The gunfights have lots of exploding blood and ear-piercing pistol-
fire, and while the finale gives it a go, the lethargic feeling from the
rest of the film lingers, and the uninspiring onscreen kinetic imagery
can't quite get my blood pumping."

MAID IN MANHATTAN / FOOLS RUSH IN (reviewed by Mike Pinsky, overall
score 65/100):
"I suppose any movie that is so annoying that it makes the other lame
romantic comedy it is paired with go up almost 10 points on a second
viewing should be considered remarkable on its own merits."

ROULEMAN (reviewed by Mitchell Hattaway, overall score 25/100):
"This is worse than anything I've ever witnessed on VHS, camcorder-
sourced bootlegs, commercial television, or scrambled pay cable."

R-POINT (reviewed by Joel Pearce, overall score 75/100):
"Asian horror is hot right now -- hot enough that there's no point
wasting time on drivel like R-Point."

ULTIMATE FIGHTING CHAMPIONSHIP 53: HEAVY HITTERS (reviewed by Ian
Visser, overall score 75/100):
"While the UFC has refined its policy of acceptable techniques (and
gotten itself sanctioned by several states' athletic commissions) the
fighters have grown increasingly well-trained and dangerous."
