There is not one company who has formally announced a dual format player.
Despite rumors, LG has NOT made this statement. LG said that it was
delaying Blu-ray until Q3/06 for final product development and that they may
be developing a dual format player.
Questions exist as to whether a dual format player is legally allowed due to
licensing restrictions.
