That a charge doesn't last very long is a BIG downside. I have a bunch
of remote control wands for my A/V gear. many of them use AAAs so I
bought some Li-ion AAAs for them. Now, IR remote control wands are light
duty for batteries because their drain is intermittant. The Li-ion AAs
last a good long time in this application, the AAAs last only a couple
of weeks. In a music player, I'd say you'd be doing good to get three
hours out of a set of them.
