 I use prosumer gear that would not be of interest to someone going to
 Disneyland for a family vacation.  I do carry a laptop on vacation, along
 with a digital still camera, an MD audio recorder, a tripod, monopod,
 microphones, rain cape and a whole slew of batteries.  I prefer shooting to
 tape when I travel, but it does take a significant amount of time to
 transfer 12 to 15 hours of raw video to my computer when I get home.
