I guess it depends on how many DVD's you burned. I burned around 2,000 discs
and maybe only 10 coasters. The first symptom was the drive couldn't read
burned DVD's anymore. Then it couldn't read retail DVD's anymore. Then every
burn was a coaster. Since the 111D is out I took the 110D back for refund
and bought a 111D at newegg.com for $38. The 111D claims to burn DVD-RAM
