When did I imply it could? As I stated in an earlier post, the portable
market isn't about powerful hardware. Nintendo created a truly
innovative system; with unique, fun games that are a blast to play for
20 or 30 minutes at a time. Sony basically made a portable PS2. Over 90%
of the games on it are garbage. Even the movies on UMD thing has
completely fallen apart. Sony doesn't understand the portable market.
They thought they could apply the same strategy they did for their
consoles and it's not working.
A funny bit of trivia: The 5 year old GBA is outselling the PSP 4 to 1!
Sony ain't ever getting that portable market away from Nintendo...
