 Allan,
 you do recall that the Sony ROOTKIT fiasco started on a single blog.
 
 The point here is not an opinion poast regarding the quality or speed
 or expense of a Sony product.  It is about whether the product has been
 falsely advertised as having a CARBON FIBER case when it, in fact, has
 a PLASTIC case.
 
 This is a fsck up.  Does this mean that notebook is not a good
 notebook?  no.  But it does mean that once again, Sony (or in this case
 the disconnect b/w the Sony marketeers and the engineers) has created a
 problem for themselves.
