I have the 80 GB RD-XS32 which is no doubt similar. Use the "Content Menu"
button to call up the recorded programme list, and use the arrow keys to
highlight the programme you wish to rename. Then press the "Quick Menu"
button and among the list of options you will find "Display Title Details".
Again use the arrow keys followed by "Enter". Pressing "Quick Menu" again
will offer the chance to edit the title details. Then you suffer the misery
of using an on-screen keyboard - Great FUN !!
Even better of course try to RTFM. If you haven't got a manual where did you
nick the DVDR?
However you can get a "pdf" from the Toshiba website.
Try

Have fun
