And even if it's not documented there are plenty of clever buggers out
there that can reverse-engineer it, the way they have done with
numerous proprietary formats over the years. I don't think it's too
bold to claim that anything stored today in wav format will be
decodeable *for ever* providing a) the human race doesn't wipe itself
out and b) the physical medium survives, but that's another whole
argument.
