By the time I left my long term position as music director at that station
they were no longer doing live recordings and I saw the handwriting on the
wall as a number of the 1/4 reels I had recorded before we got the PCM gear
had allready been "reclaimed" to record NPR news feeds. I just grabbed every
tape I could, PCM or 1/4", and packed them in boxes keeping them out of the
reach of the clueless.
