Are you trying to connect all this equipment through RF leads or are
you using AV connections? I keep seeing reference to tuning so I am
assuming you are only using RF connections., but you really aught to
connect your equipment via AV leads, RCA or scart depending on where
you live. The RF can go into each of the recorders and into your tv,
which will give you your tv channels, but you shouldn't rely on the RF
signal to watch things from either vcr or dvd.
I hope that isn't too confusing, it's 4 am and I am just on my way to
bed!
