I haven't fired up WinMX in about a month, but have noticed something that
wasn't in place the last time I fired it up... It appears that the "fake"
files and sharers have been some how weeded out? Not sure exactly what is
going on, but I'm liking it! It sure makes getting the songs you want a LOT
easier...
What am I talking about? Simple. The valid files appear with correct file
times, while the invalid ones appear with obscene file times... Example,
valid file is 3-minutes and 40-seconds (3:40). The valid files display
"3:40" or very close to that (depending on the exact file), while the
invalid ones display obscene times, like "58:20:14". That's obviously not a
valid time...

Notices the one on top are valid, while the other 10,771 files are fakes...
If anybody is wondering, I am using the HOST file patch, which I believe was
called the "piepatch"??
Just an observation, as I haven't seen any mention of it here on the
group...
