1280x780? That seems oddball. The two HD formats are 1280x720 (usually
progressive) and 1920x1080 (generally interlaced right now, but
progressive is becoming more common).
The format used on HD/Blu-Ray DVD's may depend on the original source,
too. Most movies will probably be 1080i/p, but some video-based material
(TV shows, sports, etc..) could be 720p if that is the original source
format.
