That is ludicrous. That statement assumes that every machine made will
run flawlessly without fail. Name ANY manufacturer who has a track
record of 100% perfection. Anything less a "complete ripoff?" Then I
suppose that would make every piece of mechanical or electrical
equipment that ever fails in any way a complete ripoff. Your claims
would have some legitimacy if you didn't take such extreme positions.

And if any microwave or Tivo ever fails then the entire product line is
a complete ripoff, right? Apple does not fail. They consistently rate
the HIGHEST in FEWEST repairs and BEST customer satisfaction. Their
hardware and software is highly ranked by consumer and industry-related
publications which I've pointed out repeatedly and you choose to
ignore. Are they perfect? No. Even Lexus puts out a lemon now and
then. And as far as "getting" in line to buy their Intel computers,
yes, that's exactly what they expect. And judging by their increasing
market share, they are succeeding.
Notice how I don't say "Dell fails miserably" or "Microsoft fails
miserably" (some of which might be accurate). Extremism and global
condemnations are unproductive and immature.

Nippy likes to ignore the fact that we sell everything. I agree that
salesmen are to be scrutinized. That's why I don't take extremist
positions or say things I can't back up. Of course if I was a
Mac-hatin' PC-lovin' salesguy he'd be singin' a different tune.
