Hi,
I'm an American who doesn't speak Russian. I would like to
buy all MP3s and CDs by a Russian soprano named Marina
Andreyeva (also spelled "Andreeva"). She is an opera singer,
a member of the Helikon Opera, and "Honored Artist of Russia."
ClassicalArchives.com has a page on her and offers a few
of her MP3s here:
http://www.classicalarchives.com/artists/andreyeva.html
More info here:
http://helikon.ru/tree/?lang=eng&id=47
I found a Russian MP3 site called Rucarta.ru that seems to
have three of her albums for sale as MP3 collections:
http://www.rucarta.ru/mp3.asp?page=1&sp=7&pid=1CA4DE7F133A44D08B162AB72874F2C1&style=&cod=
If the above link doesn't show her albums, just search the
MP3s for "Андреева Марина (сопрано)."
Unfortunately, I don't speak Russian and can't figure out
how to sign up on the Web site and place my order. Is there
anyone here who would be willing to help me order these MP3s?
If we did it by phone, I'd pay for the phone call. I'd also
be I'd be willing to pay you a little for your trouble.
Another idea: Does anyone know how I could order these albums
on CD from a store in Russia? This would be best because I'd
prefer to have the music at CD quality, but after so much
fruitless searching online, I've almost given up hope of
ever finding CDs of her work at this point.
Finally, if anyone knows of another message board where I
could ask for help with this problem, please let me know.
I'm desperate!
