Hello,
A friend just purchased a combo DVD/VHS player/recorder and has started dubbing
old videotapes (videos of family events, televised sporting events, etc). Some
have gone through without problem, but a couple of videotapes will not copy- the
DVD recorder displays the message about copyrighted materials. These tapes are
definitely not copyrighted, but they are old (early 1990s). They play decently
on the TV, but the DVD burner is giving that erroneous message. (The tapes are
intact and the protection tabs are untouched.)
Any help, comments? Thanks in advance.
