You  have hit the real problem with eekbay. 
Blindly "trusting people" is basicly what it all comes down to on eekbay. 
 
But as almost every transaction will be with a different person, there is 
never any track record to base trust on. 
In any eekbay transaction you have a 50/50 chance of getting an honest 
seller. 
While you may get lucky for a few deals, eventually the odds grow that you 
will get burned. 
 
Eekbay is like gambling at a casino,....never wager more than you can afford 
to lose. 
But why even take the chance when you can often get better deals elsewhere. 
 
As for the OP. 
I'm off on a long  road trip this weekend. 
I don't have any auto insurance, but it's okay. 
If a cop pulls me over I'll just tell them that I "self insure" and so I 
don't need real insurance,......just like an eekbay seller. 
 
I'm sure the cops will understand.
