have no idea at this point, it's all in the file that was put away when we
dumped the gear in october last year at the switch to pc and avid.

moreover, there were several contacts. we had at least three different tech
people, one who actually logged into our machine using some software that we
downloaded from a link they provided. and in management, there were also
several people we spoke with. i kinda recall a Jay? but can't be sure.
that is now 8 months ago and we've been to two major conferences since the
last of which was NAB las vegas. that's where we met our first avid folks.
for as i say, any tech questions we used the support groups since there are
so many ppl out there using avid. with apple, we couldn't find much at all
in the way of help on fcp and that helped influence our decision to run,
that is run away from the problem(s).

o and another thing, i wouldn't pull that file out again for even my best
friend, for it was the worst horror mystery i've ever experienced and i
wouldn't want to stir up anymore nightmares . . if ya get the drift :o)

don't get me wrong, the folks were kind with us and courteous, just not
helpful to resolve our issues or pay for their mistakes, which we concluded
to be our mistake . . the mistake being . . to have chosen apple and mac to
begin with.
