hey thanks guys. appreciate the help. we use panasonic's dv proline
cameras and of late added a dvx100b (which we absolutely love!) and the tv
guys begged us to go dvcpro stating that all the tv stations who gave up
their betacams went to dvcpro and hoped that we would do the same. however,
we liked the prices of the proline cameras and the availablility of miniDV
tapes and thus, chose this format and just wanted to know if we had lost
anything. we have a dvcpro deck (which we have to have to edit their
footage that they can't turn out in time with FCP) and for the life of us we
can't tell the difference in the quality of their images and ours (although
they have $10,000 more in each of their cameras than we do)??
thanks again for the info, it makes me feel a little better :o)
