You did not specify that you wanted HHD.
If you just want a basic DVDR with no HHD, then the ILO DVDR05MU1 for
$99 at WalMart is the unit to get. It is the same as the Cyberhome
1600MU1. Get the latest firmware ver. 6.10 from tech support and it
will play AVI/XviD.
I am told by an owner that the LiteOn LVW 5045 HDD unit is good.
