Agreed. I use a HTPC, and that's networked to the main pc with the 'net
connection. It can play all dodgy downloads, and on top of that it's good
for mame, and a bit of big screen web browsing when my wife has commandeered
my office for online bingo, or whatever it is she gets up to in here.
A decent htpc can be cobbled together quite cheaply, and there's a hell of a
lot you can do with it. Still, if the display is just a regular tv, you're
probably better off with a standalone machine.
