Disney's stated plan at the time was that they would only release their
crappy live action movies to DVD, while all of their animation product
(you know, the stuff people actually wanted) would remain exclusive to
DiVx so they could gouge parents for a new viewing fee every time their
children wanted to rewatch a cartoon.

Not until DiVx died, I'm pretty sure.
