I was being facetious, 480p is however a ratified HDTV resolution. EDTV
is a latter day sales invented term that acknowledges the fact that 480p
never should have ended up in the HD specs in the first place. Its not
coincidental that Plasma TVs couldn't be manufactured (affordable) at
greater than 480p at the time.
