why wouldn't you be able to use video edited in another program? all
you have to do is render it as an mp2 file.
It's what I plan on doing. I use Avid XDV and will be getting Adobe
encore. I had gotten Sonic Reel DVD, but with what our IT guys do with
XP all it would do was crash the system. so I edit with Avid on one
system, and will be authoring on another system, to free up resources.
