One time when I was in Boston I met a guy who had _the_ worst fake-oirish
sounding accent. I was convinced he was taking the piss and I started
talking like him to join in the fun.
But it turned out that was the way he spoke (he was from Sligo) -and he
wasn't too happy with me mocking him. :)
....Probably had to be there, but it was a real Jaysus Begorrah accent like
I've never heard actually spoken in Ireland.
It made me re-evaluate every crap Irish accent I've ever heard in movies.
Anyway, that's neither here nor there.
....How about you try ordering a pizza from Joeys to see what turns up? :)
