Hello all,
I bought a second-hand External Liteon SOHW1693SX DVD
writer. I thought it'd be easy to install and play but I can't seem to get
it operating . Ity powers up and the computer recognises it as G: drive but
even with USB2 and
Firewire connections in place and the latest firmware from Liteon's website
I just can't get it. Even with a disc inserted , it advises to insert a
disc.
Can someone here help. please?

PS: I have Win 2000 and 14GB hard drive with 10GB free at the moment
