For whole albums I'd suggest Usenet binary groups. I used to use
BitComet. I switched to uTorrent for a number of reasons. There are many
good tracking sites. Here's a list of some of the better ones:

LimeWire is still in business and doing quite well. It's currently
reported to be one of the most downloaded p2p app's. Kazaa is a great source
for corrupt files. I'd suggest using one of the spyware/adware free versions
and MP3Shield if you go that route.
