Hello Alpha,
Many thanks for replying. I've been using a trial
version of Power DVD 7 which , the first few times I tried it, started a
Reg 2 DVD playing but stopped after 20 seconds or so. The same programme
also played a VCD for a few minutes but no longer plays anything except for
video files on my harddrive or audio cds from the old cdrom.
Does this help? Also, should I have both the USB2 and
Firewire cables connected at the same time?
