Oh, OK. I recall somebody saying on some forum that the OFA6 could be
upgraded by playing a file to it via the PC's speaker, so I presume
that you mean that.

You wouldn't happen to know which OFA device-codes correspond to the
three Sony "command-modes", by any chance? You can select one of three
command-modes for the Sony remote, so that you can have up to three
Sony DVD players/recorders without their remotes interfering with each
other. I know that OFA device-code 0533 corresponds to command-mode 1,
but I don't know the other two.
