Ever since their "upset" a year or so ago with the UK authorities, cdwow's
ability to supply certain titles seems to have been curtailed somewhat.
A number of times I've ordered region1 DVDs from them that have been due for
a UK cinema release, only for the DVD to be "mysteriously delayed" for a few
days... then a few days more & a few days more.
A day or two after the cinema release, it suddenly appears in the cdwow
stock-list and is shipped!
Coincidence? I now believe not.
Latest Example: Neil Young: Heart of Gold.
Although I already own it (bought from amazon.com weeks ago), I ordered it
from cdwow for a friend. A week later it's on it's second "delayed for a few
days".
I have no doubt that this delay would continue (if I let it) until after the
upcoming cinema release.
Thankfully, cdwow have good customer service and promptly cancelled my order
when I requested, but still it's annoying... and not the first time this has
happened.
