Richard, I find this interesting as I started offering DVDs about 5
years ago and was advised by my supplier that -R was the format to go
with. Your statement intrigued me to the fact that I called them today
and asked if many people used +R. Answer was a few years ago 99% of
players would play +R and a lower % could play -R.
This situation has now reversed to the point that almost 100% of DVD
players will now play both. I likewise use TY's "A" grade and have
very few problems with them.
I found the first question from the original poster about offering
burned DVDs a bit strange as I'm betting all the wedding shooters on
this site do just that as well as people like myself who are doing
event production.
Given the cost of a glass master and the amount of copies you would
have to order to get the price reasonable is way out of my budget for
what I do.
