Finalizing on my Panasonic DVD recorder takes about 4 minutes for a
DVD-R, using video first recorded on the recorder's hard drive. If you
are just using 15 minute videos for permanent storage on DVDR, record
them at the XP speed, so they take up more space.
DVDRs I forgot to finalize did not play on my computer, which uses
PowerDVD to play DVDs.
