I think you are flattering that piece on patriotism by elevating it to Dick
and Jane. Dick and Jane are simplistic, but essentially accurate. You're
showing your age, Dick and Jane readers were replaced by Dr Seuss about
thirty years ago in US public schools.

But there is a tip off.
Notice he is a clever fellow with a good command of the language, obviously
very intelligent.
Notice that what he is saying does not match that demographic.
He's not stoopid enough to actually believe that crap he is saying.
He just enjoys seeing how many other people are stoopid enough to think he
is stoopid enough to believe that he actually believes what he is saying.

His ability to pull off that charade is evidenced by the length of this
thread.
