Sure. And there may be rough sailing ahead even for the big studios.
Technology has devalued movies. I don't need a china-connection or
$100,000 in equipment to clone a movie. Making a movie copy has become
child's play.
The question now is what freedoms and privacy rights will I give up to
prop up the movie studios. My answer is NONE. If the Internet is going
to kill the studios, and their antiquated dinosaurs then so be it.
I don't think this will happen. For sure entertainment will live on as
long as humans live on.
(I'll have one happy meal, with the Star Wars figurines ...)
