I cant make it clear in my mind exactly
what you are trying to do.
You might get a decent hundred or more WATTS per channel
Amplifier and couple your player via a patch cord
to that amplifier,
I myself would just get a 2GB USB drive
and put my music in a folder there
then I could play it anywhere I wanted to
that had the proper multimedia machine.
The music industry is wanting special purpose machines
only instead of general purpose because they want to
control copy capabilities that might step on their
ability to make money.
They think freedom exists only for themselves to make money
and no other people/purpose.
I say it is their industry that needs to adapt
or die and not the rest of us.
I can go on just fine with no music at all
so long as I am free to investigate other
areas of entertainment.
